SPECIFICATIONS

Dun-Rite Tool has selected the finest of various manufacturer's
materials and coatings for our Qic-Loc® tool line. After extensive in-the-field testing we have the grades for use in most applications for today's high temperature metals and exotic alloys.
Our Grade RT-30 (C2-C3), is a micro grain with 8% cobalt, 1% tantalum and a hardness of 92.6 RA which works well in areas where a coated tool is not necessary.
Our sintered hipped RT-8 is a C3 Micro Grain with a P.V.D. tin coating with no honed edges.
RT 23A is a heavy duty oxide AL203 with a TICN base C.V.D. coated and offers high resistance against thermal wear at moderate to high cutting speeds.
Our multi-coated RT-34 excels at the tasks required of a coated insert.
RT-8 has a tin coating while RT-3, RT-21, and RT-34 were selected for a special processed multicoat of TIC-TICN-TIN for stronger bonding to carbide resulting in longer tool life.
The above grades were field tested using 'QicLoc®' tooling in various applications with great success.
